Federal law requires
political committees and individuals to report the name, mailing
address, occupation, and name of employer for contributions
where aggregate is in excess of $200 in an election cycle.

Please Note:
Federal
law limits individual contributions to $2400 per election. Married
couples may contribute $4800 per election. The 2010 Primary and 2010
General are considered separate elections.
An individual may contribute a maximum of $4,800: $2,400 for the
Primary election and $2,400 for the General election.
Multi-candidate PACs may give a maximum of $10,000: $5,000 for the
Primary election and $5,000 for the General election. All
contributions are subject to limitations and regulations set by the
Federal Election Commission.
Corporate contributions are not permitted. Foreign
nationals may not contribute. You must be at least 18 years old.
Terms:
Federal election law requires political committees to use best
efforts to report the name, mailing address, occupation, and name of
employer of individuals whose contributions exceed $200 during an
election cycle. Federal law prohibits contributions to the committee
from the general treasury funds of a corporation, labor
organizations or national banks (including corporate or other
business entity credit cards), from any person contributing
another's funds, from a Federal government contractor, or from a
foreign national who lacks permanent resident status. Contributions
are not deductible for Federal income tax purposes.
